  	<title><![CDATA[Tenhi 来自千湖之国的梦幻之声]]></title>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">一直以来我都想向大家介绍这支神秘的乐队，但是不知道该把它放在哪里，METAL? GOTH? XMETAL? ROCK? 似乎都不是，但是至少有一点，当TENHI向世人推出他们第一张SINGLE 的时候，在北欧的金属圈确曾引起了喧然大波。1996年，TYKO SAARIKKO(SYNTH；GUITAR；VOCAL；EFFEKT)和他的好友 ILLKA SALMINEN(DRUMS;VOCAL;GUITAR)组建了乐队TENHI ，并邀请了ILMAR ILLAKAINEN(BASS;GUITAR;GRAND PIANO;PERCUSSIONS)和ELENORA LUNDEN (VIOLIN)加入。提起芬兰，人们会自然的想到AMORPHIS IMPALED NAZARENE这样杰出的极端金属团，或者诸如NIGHTWISH ETOS 这样优美前卫的乐队，所以当TENHI的第一个声音出现时，这金属王国中的许多艺术家们被这声音震惊了，它不是金属，却描述着许多也许比金属乐更到位更深邃的千湖之国的梦幻和寒冷。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">记得我第一次听到TENHI的音乐正是从他们的SINGLE--HALLAVADET，一份短小而精致的礼物。从那时起，不仅仅为这奇妙的音响世界感到欣喜，而更多的是对当时PROPHECY已经开始宣传的正式专辑KAUAN的无比期待。 PROPHECY 这家绝对对于XMETAL和POP-ROCK来说都表现得异类的LABEL却一次次将惊喜带给乐迷，从EMPYRIUM到BETHLEHEM，从NAERVAER到NOX MORTIS。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">而这次当KAUAN终于在我的唱机中旋转时，正如期待中一样，我又听到这神秘的 ，与其中情感同样丰富的声音，慢慢弥漫在空气中。如果你想让自己在寂静中沉醉，如果你想暂时(52分钟，HEHE)地忘却时空，如果你准备开始一次梦幻之旅，那么KAUAN正是可以引领你完成它们的最好素材。我可以将其描述成为黑暗的，充满氛围的，有着沉思特质的民歌音乐。伴随着用芬兰语吐出的忧伤旋律，箱琴无时无刻不在延续着它们的魔力，令人无法抗拒地被它冰冷而深情的划拨带至极北的那片白色王国。SALMINEN和SAARIKKO交替的歌声时而如在远方空中徊响，时而又似于耳边低语，但不变的是它们的宁静，和这些北方之子似乎与生俱来的那种悲剧气质。为了配合整体音乐的情绪，TENHI 在这张专辑中恰如其分地使用了小提琴，长笛和大三角钢琴等古典乐器，天然流畅。这是很奇妙的过程，如果你说感到雾气开始抚摸你的肌肤，如果你看到小溪有流水潺潺，如果你闻到森林深处传出的清新，那么我知道你已经真的进入了TENHI的世界。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">芬兰有着千湖之国的美誉，无数的优秀音乐也无愧于这称号，从西贝柳斯的图内拉天鹅到AMORPHIS 的千湖传说。而随着时间的推移，能让我们再次领略这无匹风光的动人音乐已越来越少，我无法希望NIGHTWISH 或者SENTENCED 乃至STRATAVARIUS能带给我此种感受，虽然它们也作着出色的音乐。而KAUAN，一张似乎和金属无关的唱片，却满足了我的渴望。这是一幕最杰出的寒冷冬夜的音响写照。如果你曾梦回过那片笼罩雾气和冰封的土地，如果你于冬暮时分也会为那苍凉的景致所感动，那么这张唱片也许是你必须聆听的。</P>

  	<title><![CDATA[Ulver的传奇三部曲--来自好友Sunsword]]></title>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">听Ulver三部曲的顺序有些异常，但这似乎并不影响我对他们的理解，因为这三部作品在音乐的表达方式上都彼此不同，但却都表达着对挪威大地的迷恋和Ulver那种特有的黑暗情节。而这种倒序的聆听好象更好，这第一部作品《Bergtatt》，就象是后两部在音乐方式上的融合：黑金属与古老的异教旋律相结合，依然表达着对北方大地所有荣耀和神秘的痴迷，以及对维京民族的歌颂和这片土地上特有的黑暗魔力的向往。专集的名字也即为“被咒语笼罩，着迷”之意。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">作品底层的构架依然是如《The Madrigal of Night》中那样的黑金属风格，当然由于表达内容的不同，而没有那么原始和粗糙（纯挪威语的歌词实在难以读懂，只是听说描述的是少女被带入森林的故事，Chapter式的歌名安排更让人清楚作品的连贯性。）。而且你会发现，即使在最具黑金属特点的部分，也由于Garm的净嗓演唱、鼓手的长笛演奏或者原声吉他的加入而增添了些许的阴暗和悲情。而多处由Acoustic吉他和长笛奏出的古老民间旋律、更为整个聆听过程涂上了浓厚的民族气息和黑暗感觉。而这恰倒好处的配合了他们讲述的这山林中的黑暗传说。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">Chapter 1由不重的金属乐开始，听者立刻会被GARM低沉的演唱所吸引，简单的鼓，简单的节奏吉他，悠扬的主音Solo和原声部分，以及明亮的贝司，一切都显得简约而迷人。 </P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">长笛和箱琴引出的Chapter 2，很快会将你投入忧郁的气氛中，可接踵而至的快速黑金属乐段和狰狞的演唱却一下又让人变得躁动而愤怒，这种突兀的感情变化一直在这首歌中延续，而Garm却能用两种极端不用的演唱方式为这种情绪的变化找到很好的交替方式，让人在情绪更迭的同时不禁越发佩服Garm的功力。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">最原始的Chapter 3和最哀挽的Chapter 4则继续着这两种不同的情绪，Chapter 3 中部出现的女人于森林中奔跑的采样并配以低语的钢琴，让人有种莫名的不安，不知这奔跑的尽头会是哪里，那恐惧的步伐和喘息都让人觉得迷乱和紧张，而Chapter 4 中似乎给出了答案，咒语般的男声演唱，时而出现的飘渺女声……，那于林中奔跑的女人好象终于抵达了她的终点。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">Chapter 5 为整个故事做了完美的终结，复杂的情绪被Ulver表达的几近完美，黑暗，神秘而美丽。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">从我个人而言，还是很喜欢这部作品，很深的民族情节配以暴躁的黑金属乐段贯穿始终，虽然不如《The Madrigal of Night》原始，不如《Kveldssanger》黑暗，但这两种感情的契合依然使《Bergtatt》令人着迷。就象专集的题目，同样会被他们的咒语笼罩，甘心踏入挪威神秘而黑暗的森林世界。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">在和一位同样喜欢Ulver的网友聊天过程中，他对Ulver做出了如下的评价："其实很精致，而且体现了他们很深的音乐素养和对乐器的理解，这种从最淳朴的方式中寻找音乐含义的方式我最喜欢，相比那些瑞典团太注重表面工夫……"。当时聊这些的时候是基于那张原始的《The Madrigal of Night》，而现在我要说的是他们三部曲的第二部，于96年发表的《Kveldssanger》--一张纯民谣风格的黑暗作品。而它也从另一个侧面证明了Ulver的音乐素养和驾御乐器去表达情感的能力。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">在这张纯民谣作品中，Garm采用的完全是净嗓的演唱，并担负了背景吉他的演奏。整个专集中虽然只有少数的几首出现了人声演唱的部分，大多时候人声都被当成了一种乐器来配合整体氛围，但无论是人声出现的曲目异或完全是器乐作品，都向听者倾诉着对挪威特有自然环境的热爱，和在这片土地上流传的一个个黑暗而古老的民间传说；主音吉他手Haavard在这张专集中的Acoustic演奏更是绝佳，准确的说，其中并没有多么高超的水平和技巧，而他给予的是更多的感情和思绪的抑扬顿挫，他用自己悲情的演奏将古老的挪威传说涂上了神秘而哀怨唯美的色彩。因此每一个旋律都会让你感受到很浓厚的民族情节。AiwarikiaR在这张专集中也放下了鼓棒，取而代之的是长笛等乐器。而专集中更是有大提琴等其他乐器来创造灰暗和夜的宁静。 </P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">虽然这是一部民谣作品，而且到处充斥着情绪化的美妙旋律，但它传递出来的黑暗感觉确是无比强大和撼人的，散发着迷人和神秘的色彩。似乎在Ulver看来，音乐只是用来表达思想的工具，而具体采用什么样的音乐表现形式在他们看来似乎并不重要，因此就有了Viking黑金属风格的《Bergtatt》、原始黑金属风格的《The Madrigal of Night》和完全民谣化的《Kveldssanger》。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">其实事实也正是如此，真正好的音乐是要用心去做的，听者也是要用心去感受、理解和共鸣的，好的音乐家利用他们的乐器创造出来的是那种精神上的深层境界，而并非一味的细化技术来追求旋律的美感。从这个层面上看，有些矫柔造作的乐团的确容易让人生厌，过度的炫技、夸张的表演、一味的追求旋律，在ULVER面前，他们显得是如此的苍白和乏力。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">很喜欢夜深人静的时候去感受这部作品，感受黑暗，感受宁静，感受神秘，感受ULVER带给我的古老传说和它们散发出来的诱人魔力……</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">昏黄的满月、纷乱的乌云、直抵苍穹绝顶的枯木，皑皑雪峰边缘伫立着不愿蛰伏，也许为人所变的独狼。一切都显得冷落而又凄凉……</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">这就是Ulver于97年发表的《The Madrigal of Night》封面给人的视觉感受，而专集内容本身，则是利用最粗糙原始的黑金属曲风演绎了8首黑暗、悲情、暴躁的人狼圣歌。虽然歌词最初是用古老的丹麦语写就，但由于专集内页的英文翻译，使我们能够更好的倾听Ulver为我们讲述的这神奇的黑暗传说。 </P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">如果这之前你只听过他们的《Kveldsjanger》，那么你要小心，因为从这唱片开始播放的第一秒开始就会令你目瞪口呆。连续的两把吉他的交织，付琴的嘈杂与失真铺垫，主琴在失真声网中的跃然而起，以及高速而显得密不透风的鼓，当然还有主唱那独特并极富感染力的嗓音，而这一切所达到的原始效果丝毫也没有被1分钟时的原音吉他所融化，当然这半分多钟的ACOUSTIC也只是一闪即逝，随后到来的依然是原始混沌的一切。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">在阵阵风声中缓缓开始的第二首作品Wolf &amp; The Devil，极端的鼓击速度配合着失真得几乎刺破耳膜的吉他音效，更加上Garm独特的发自腹腔的嘶叫，已经预示了你将听到的就是这样一部Primitive Black Metal作品。最喜欢这首歌中3分和6分钟左右的吉他SOLO，高速、旋律化，同时又扭曲、变态到了极点，仿佛满月之时已然到来，痛苦的人狼开始变形，进入到匪夷所思的另一个世界。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">专集的词作非常吸引人，但由于翻译过来的可能不是正统的英文，使阅读有了些困难，但无论是Wolf &amp; The Devil中对Wolf于无尽黑暗中的徘徊描写，还是Wolf &amp; The Moon中Wolf满怀深情的对月倾诉的悲伤情绪都刻画得淋漓尽致。终结时的几句更是令人回味无穷：冰冷的冬日，寒意很快侵透了全身，他仍然怀着对冬日黑夜的向往，独自巡行--The Wolf。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">从编曲上看，Ulver并没有利用各种乐器的扭曲化或者融合嘈杂化来制造原始，但他们用自己的方式同样达到了冰冻森林般的原始氛围，配以歌词内容表达的主题，使整个作品充满着一贯的悲凉、敌意和憎恨。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">虽然听说这张专集是用四轨录制而成，但如果你听的够仔细，各个乐器的声音还是清晰可闻，而并非嘈杂的一片。背景高度失真扭曲的吉他一直在咆哮，在此铺垫下主音吉他时而杀出的主旋律，贝司兢兢业业的补偿着由于过于高速而显得不够沉重的鼓，一切都很好的营造了整体黑暗，神秘和躁动的气氛，这一切都证明了Ulver的独树一帜和优秀，当然另一亮点应该说是Garm的演唱，可谓：充满愤怒和亵渎的悲伤。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">这是一张原始但不失旋律，粗糙暴躁但不失悲情的Black Metal专集，Ulver利用他们自己独特、高超的音乐驾御能力为我们带来了这张黑暗，诡异的作品。让人从始至终都沉浸在原始、黑暗的氛围中无法自拔。</P></div>]]></description>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">专集的封面设计也给我很深的印象。虽然很少有黑金属专集以头像做封面，但这里的Fenriz头像却显得十分的相称，非常符合专集的内容。加之前两张作品，简单的黑白尸脸，烛台，枯树，倒十字等的陪衬，感觉绝对不比阴森的城堡或者怪兽狰狞缺少震撼，好象更符合黑金属式的简单原始美学。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">开始的同名曲Transilvanian Hunger几乎代表着专集中作品的所有特点。简单反复的单一吉他Riff在躁动而匀速的鼓击下一遍一遍推动着人的情绪，说来奇怪，这种反复到了后来已然让人不再觉得作品结构的简单和音乐的单调，随着时间的延续，冰冷和邪恶层层推进，深感简单重复下的意境渲染更有能力让人激动，So pure ，So cold。黑嗓的纯正也是一大亮点，尖叫所产生的摧毁感和来自吼管深处的尖利很好的表达了对鲜血和胜利的渴望。Hate living…… The only heat is warm blood，Transilvanian Hunger!</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">虽然专集中的歌曲都有着明显的两把吉他和贝司、鼓的阵容。但每首歌的Riff都简单异常，加上匀速也没什么花样的鼓，听不太出来的低音……但细听之下那反复的旋律很是诡异和优美，尤其相对节奏吉他有些明亮的主音旋律非常特别，几遍之后你会发现它们写的真是很不错，婉转和扭曲兼而有之。辅琴的音色也不低沉，相反却都尖锐并且有些刺耳。两把吉他随着音乐主题的进行相互交替占据着主导地位，从两个不同的听觉方向进行着攻击。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">似乎Darkthrone自从脱胎换骨走向黑金属道路后就一直在不断的屏弃着传统金属，或者说Thrash，Death这些老金属风格所有的一切特点。如果说&lt;A blaze in the northen sky&gt;中还有很多灵感来自Celtic Frost并且进行了进一步的扭曲的话，到了这张&lt;Transilvanian Hunger&gt;则几乎已经听不出来任何缓慢的Thrash感觉了，我想这张专集就是现在常说的Raw\Grim black metal最具代表的作品。</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">&nbsp;</P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">还有不得不提的是Burzum的Varg在这张专集中的作用，Burzum的音乐似乎从最开始走的就是简单粗糙的路线，没有从老式金属的过度，而却借助它刻画出遮天闭日的压抑和黑暗，因此Burzum绝对算是早期原始黑的一个例外。而这张专集中Varg为Darkthrone写了半数的词做，看来他谱写的黑暗主题用Raw black metal才能最贴切的表达。只是Darkthrone在黑暗的基础上又多了些嗜血和摧毁的渴望。</P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">无疑，这是一张绝对的经典，一只Cult乐队发行的一张Cult作品。后续无数的黑暗部落都在&lt;Transilvanian Hunger&gt;这块基石上去探询着更加极端原始的音乐形式和无尽的黑暗去处。</P></div>]]></description>

    <description><![CDATA[<div><P><FONT color=#ff8080>Oh, cruel life that lets us up and down, and the reality surprises us a lot, and the illusions have a tendency to breaking… I also had an illusion of my own: if there was one, the one who was “true and evil” to the bones, then Fenriz had his name to be, he is the leader of the band that grimly called DARKTHRONE! The interviews I read with him, drew me the image of the “evilest” and “truest”. But poor me, for deceived I was by cruel whims of fortune! <P align=justify>One of the main reasons of our calling you, is the tribute album to DARKTHRONE. What do you think of this “memorial to the still alive band”?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Personally I don’t have tribute albums in my collection. I always prefer the originals. But the idea to make such a tribute was to mark that the band has been existing for ten years. I was thinking about the tribute album for five days and then I called to Moonfog and said “I don’t think it’s a good idea.” But they thought it was a good idea, and I am not the one who’s taking the decisions in DARKTHRONE right now, Nocturno Culto is taking the decisions right now. It was in the mid-90s when I took the decisions. But, anyway, I am very glad that the Norwegian bands do this tribute. </P><B>
<P align=justify>Why did you let Nocturno Culto take all the decisions?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Because I did it before and now it’s his turn. We have a sort of split dictatorship in the band: if Nocturno has a song, I can’t say anything about it. I just have to accept it. And if I make anything, he has to accept it. </P><B>
<P align=justify>Don’t you think that such a dictatorship spoils the atmosphere of creativity within the band?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Haha! There’s so much great music out there in the world that’s been made by one person. This can go both ways: working together can bring more creativity or less creativity in the same way. But the greatest ideas people are making for themselves. And also I would like to emphasize that DARKTHRONE is not big in creativity. We never said we were original or anything like that. I give a fuck about the creativity, if I wanted something creative, I wouldn’t listed to black metal. </P><B>
<P align=justify>You haven’t released anything within the last two years. What are you thinking about, man? </P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Well, all this about bands releasing albums every year – all this is bullshit. It was IRON MAIDEN that started this thing in metal scene. But you can see that even IRON MAIDEN need a break! It took them two years to release “Seven Son of the Seven Son” album. Why wouldn’t we need a break? We haven’t recorded anything since 1995 actually. When we record the new album this summer, it will be four years since we last released the album. But we don’t want to be musicians all the time. We don’t want to earn money on this. Because we are from the ‘80s, the time when there was no scene for that music and you couldn’t live from it. We don’t need to come up with something new to feed ourselves, and when we want to take a break – we take it! </P><B>
<P align=justify>So, you are going to record a new album this summer at last. What is it going to be like?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>I don’t know yet! Me and Nocturno live far away from each other and he’s made twenty minutes of the material but I haven’t heard it yet. I just hope that it will not be fast because I really like the fast stuff like IMMORTAL, but I don’t want to play fast myself anymore. </P><B>
<P align=justify>Did you have any meetings with Nocturno to discuss at least some basic points of the album?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>You see, when you meet a person two times a year, it’s a different sort of relationship. This means that distance is always a good thing! And I don’t use the word “to meet” someone, fuck that, it sounds like a Christian thing, ha! </P><B>
<P align=justify>The first album you released as DARK THRONE was a death metal album, do you remember that?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>WHAT?! We released a death metal album?! Oh yeah, I remember! I like it now, but it was really important to hate it back then. The point is that we were sick with the death metal trend, and we just understood that we contributed to that trend ourselves as well. Black metal now may not be a serious thing, but then – back in 1990 - it was a serious thing. We had to look away from anything else and concentrate on black metal. Because if we thought (with the voice of mentally retarded) “Black me-e-tal is gre-eat, we can do-o-o black metal” it wouldn’t be a strong scene. It would have turned out into an ugly thing, look at the bands like ATROSITY! Oh, it’s not good to say that!</P><B>
<P align=justify>You can say whatever you want, we are a free magazine!</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Yeah, and you don’t have a gun pointing to my head!</P><B>
<P align=justify>No I don’t!</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>But I guess the pen is sharper than the sword! </P><B>
<P align=justify>The first black metal album you recorded was a big shock to all your fans…</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>I can’t remember that we had any fans! We never had any feedback from the “Soulside Journey” album! We thought the album sold eight hundred copies and we didn’t care. </P><B>
<P align=justify>Anyway, how did you come to black metal stuff?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>It was not a decision. It was not a band meeting like “OK, we are all together in the meeting room and I want to say something. Don’t you guys think that black metal is becoming…” No, it wasn’t like this! The music I listened to back then led me to the total blackification of everything. I had BATHORY albums but I never understood them until 1990. I also hear a compilation tape, there was TORMENTHOR from Hungary. I listened to it and thought “Oh-ho! I can feel something, I can feel something here! A-a-ar! This is black metal again!” That opened my eyes and my ears. This changed everything in my musical life. Black metal was less technical, more primitive, but it gave the opportunity to create an atmosphere rather than musicianship.</P><B>
<P align=justify>That’s why you refused any musical development for the band?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Ha! I think the best death metal is not the most technical one! The best black metal is not the most technical either. And thrash metal – I like more EXODUS than CORONER! </P><B>
<P align=justify>So, what is the best black metal then?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Of course, BATHORY.</P><B>
<P align=justify>What do you think about DARKTHRONE?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>I am proud of it! We have always had that row sound, and I am proud of all the decisions we took. But for us it’s easy to take unconventional decisions because we are working men, and we can do whatever we want. </P><B>
<P align=justify>How did you become a Satanist?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Ha!…ha! I became a Satanist through MERCYFUL FATE. And, of course, I didn’t become a Satanist like in one day. The same thing like with black metal. I don’t like KING DIAMOND’s stuff so much, but MERCIFUL FATE was great. So, I started to read more about that, got interested in it. Suddenly I got possessed. </P><B>
<P align=justify>Are you still a Satanist?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>You always have this thing with you. But it might not be so strong now. It depends on if it is the biggest thing in your life. Being a Satanist you can choose more than being a Christian. </P><B>
<P align=justify>What do you think about those musicians who say that there’s no black metal without Satanic ideology?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>If you are a musician, and you are really into music, then music is the most important thing. But if you write a song about Satanism, there is always a person who is more into Satanism, because you just write a song. Music is you life, and Satanism is life for the person you sing your song. So, music is the most important thing. </P><B>
<P align=justify>In one of the interviews you said that you still hadn’t decided yet what is better: to spread Satanism all around the globe or to make it an underground secret. Are you still blowing cold and hot?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>I don’t know. But the point is, that even my grandmother, who is actually dead, knew that black metal was underground! Now black metal has more press than Tom Hanks has! So it is a utopia to discuss whether it is an underground secret or not. But some part of black metal is dead. And I hope that people will remember us, and they will think of MAYHEM instead of CRADLE OF FILTH. I don’t want to talk much shit about CRADLE OF FILTH, but these guys are fucking killing me, ha! </P><B>
<P align=justify>You don’t like CRADLE OF FILTH, do you?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Ha…ha! Hmmm…Not as black metal musicians. It’s like Bonny Tylor singing “I am a punk rocker!” It’s not correct. Oh shit, I have told even more shit about CRADLE OF FILTH, man! I’m gonna die with it! You know. We’re all gonna die, and I’m gonna burn in hell! I doubt these guys will, haha!</P><B>
<P align=justify>What is “true and evil” for you, a “true and evil” black metal musician?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>You just turn to “Return” album of BATHORY. I understand everything there, a lot of people don’t. Shit, when they listen to the album they say (with a German accent) “Fot is dis shit, people I’m wonterin’? Fot is dis stupid zound?” But for me the “Return” album is fucking great! If you don’t understand this album, you have problems with discussing black metal with me. </P><B>
<P align=justify>What do you, the representative of the black metal of the ‘80s, think of the modern black metal movement?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Well, just think about the people who invented rock ‘n roll, when people like Elvis and Little Richard took all the money and all the fame. Who are those people from the ‘50s, do you know them? You just think “Hmm, E-e-elvis, Little Richard…”. I just hope that we will be remembered for creating this thing!</P><B>
<P align=justify>Don’t you feel sorry for not being known?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>I don’t really care if some fucking forty-year-old guy used to like DOKKEN and now he likes black metal. I don’t want him to know about DARKTHRONE at all, you know. I am perfectly safe and sound being an underground band. But I listen to things that were important for DARKTHRONE back then in the ‘90s, and modern things don’t bother me a lot. </P><B>
<P align=justify>When reading your interviews or looking at your images, one can guess that you are a grim person, what is definitely a mistake…</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>(with a gay voice) O-o-oh, thank you, thank you! Well, sorry ‘bout that! You see, I don’t have a split personality, I have a shatter personality. When you grow older, your personality changes with you… Do you think Jesus was a more humorous guy than the Son of Satan? I don’t think so. Is it funny to be grim? I think the most part of population doesn’t even know the whole idea of grimness! It’s like (with a Mickey Mouse voice) “Gri-im? Ooh! May be-e I sood be-e gri-im?” What the fuck is it? You don’t have to be grim all the time. But the point is, why should I be grim with my own people? I’d rather be grim towards people who I don’t want to talk with.</P><B>
<P align=justify>Why aren’t you grim with me? Do you have a pleasure talking to me?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Errr. You are not the sort of guy who always turns to small talk. I like to talk to people who has something to say, you know. If I were grim during this interview, I wouldn’t be interesting!</P><B>
<P align=justify>Do you still dislike live concerts?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Always this question! The last live gig I did, I rehearsed a lot and then I ended up sitting till half past eleven from one o’clock in the backstage. I wanted to do a great gig, so drank only a half of a beer. You know how it’s to sit in the backstage from one o’clock till half past eleven? OK, and then suddenly you are out there and the sound is like “who’s-the-fucking-sound-engineer-is?” And the point is also that the drum kit is not your own and you have to readjust to these things. And generally, I didn’t feel good on stage. I hate, Hate, HATE IT! A lot of people say “Hey, rock ‘n roll is being on the stage!” But live is not for me, man. Understand me, you put me in a bad mood, I am getting aggressive, haha!</P><B>
<P align=justify>Another “problem” with your band, is that you are not photo friendly guys. Are you afraid of cameras?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>We are not the band that goes to studio to take photos. You might know that people are different, and the point is that we don’t HAVE to do anything. And I am not that sort of guy that sits and analyses, “Why don’t I like this sort of ice cream? Why don’t I like to take photos?” When I don’t like anything, I don’t ask myself why. I don’t have time to ask myself why! But I haven’t asked Nocturno Culto during last five years (with the voice of the mentally retarded) “Why-y-y shouldn’t we ma-a-ke photos?” This is not an issue in DARKTHRONE. We haven’t even discussed it for five or six years. But the truth is that now we are extremely fat and we will look ridiculous, haha! We can’t get all our spikes and stuff, haha! No, that’s just bullshit! </P><B>

<P align=justify>Why everybody’s asking about Anselmo? The most important thing is that there are Killjoy from NECROPHAGIA and Maniac from MAYHEM! I called Maniac yesterday to get any information, but he was drunk as he had his thirty’s birthday.</P><B>
<P align=justify>What was the reason of your drinking last night?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>It was a thrash show. You know, people think that if there are so many bands coming out from Norway, there must be a lot of clubs where they play black metal. But there is not a single club where they play black metal, or thrash metal, of grind core! There are may be five pubs in the entire country that might play some hard Gary Moore. It’s a fucking wimpy place!</P><B>
<P align=justify>You told me a couple of times that you are a working man. May I ask you where do you work?</P></B></P>
<P align=justify>Yeah, you may ask me but I may not answer, haha! I started to work in 1988 to earn money for DARK THRONE. I worked five years with normal people and I had to listen to commercial radio everyday. And it was hell. But then, last five and a half years I have been working in the postal system. I am not talking about post office, I am in the system. And I don’t need to talk to anyone, it’s great! What do I have in front of me here now? I have got eighteen CDs from the editor of Nordic Vision. And what am I going to do with them? I will LISTEN to them! See? I got paid for listening to music! It’s great! Can you hear the sound of these promo discs (I hear as Fenriz is beating them on the table)? I got paid for sitting on my ass and listening to CDs! It’s unbelievable! And the best thing is that I don’t have to talk to anyone! </P><B>

  	<title><![CDATA[关于烟斗]]></title>

    <description><![CDATA[<div><P>最近开始迷上了烟斗。记得幼时读到书中我最崇拜的HOLMES先生叼起他的石楠根烟斗时，就会有一种奇特的向往，似乎如果身处在那种缭绕的烟雾中，自己也会拥有他那样的智慧和艺术家情怀。</P>
<P>现在作为刚入门的菜鸟级，就选择了国产的SECOND斗，品质不能说好，但是中规中矩，完全可以满足我的需要。而烟草嘛，就可以多做选择了。在店家目前的存货中，从美国的captain black GOLD，丹麦的borkum riff BOURBON WHISKY到sunday's fantasy。惠而不费，遂一样一盒收入囊中，回来慢慢品尝。</P>
<P>烟斗真的能让人心境平和，从容，随着芳香的烟雾伴随着呼吸从口中冉冉升起，所有繁杂的思绪似乎都有了一个线索。最棒的是这芳香在室内萦绕半日不去。</P>
<P>&nbsp;</P>
<P>自从开始吸烟斗以后，所有的过滤嘴普通香烟皆难以入口，除了我至爱的davidoff和marlboro。而烟斗最好之处在于它的危害小。抽烟斗的乐趣在于让无限芬芳的烟雾在口腔舌尖打转，让烟草的香气充分在口腔内回荡，然后喷出，几乎没有什么气体被吸入了肺部。</P>
<P>并且烟斗便宜，虽然一个烟斗的最初投资比较大，但是一个好的烟斗，再加上主人精心的呵护，可以有很长的寿命。而烟斗草的价格普遍很便宜，怎么计算都比香烟要划算。</P>
<P>再点起一锅，让那香味在空气中徘徊，很温暖，很儒雅，很绚烂，并且总会让人怀念起一些儿时经历过的或者只是在梦中闪现过的美好片段。</P></div>]]></description>

  	<title><![CDATA[Graven, thy blasphemy]]></title>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>GRAVEN,&nbsp; 德国新晋的一支黑金属团，乐队以VARGSANG 为灵魂，他司职除鼓之外的所有乐器和主唱，由VRONTH担任打击乐的演奏。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>初将GRAVEN 2002年由德国金属唱片公司UNDERCOVER以011号发行的首张专集PERISHED AND FORGOTTEN 放进CD 机时，总体的感觉是欣喜。乐队秉承着早期NORDIC METAL 的血脉，从鼓的编排和RIFFS 的行进都可以很清晰地感应到DARKTHRONE 在UNDER A FUNERAL MOON 和TRANSILVANIA HUNGER 时期的渎神气质和阴暗，险恶，跳动而污浊的色彩。黑金属传统构架的RIFFS 爽朗的递进和霸气无匹的狂躁里加入了更清晰的旋律主线，也并非完全的阴沉肆虐的下行音阶，而是以德国很多团所特有的严谨给音乐添加了一些节制，但请别误解，这节制听上去却更加阴险和狰狞。VARGSANG 的嗓音没有太过突出的地方，但是非常到位，充分作到了一个邪恶巫师或者说一个渎神者所应该做到的那样。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>听完整张专集后却有了种不过瘾的感觉。最终发现原来是录音的问题。这张OLD SCHOOL UNHOLY BLACK METAL 做得过于精致和华丽了。鼓的编排和演奏很有FENRIZ 的几分邪气，但是却因为吉他录音的过分丰厚和圆润被遮掩了不少，以至于很多很有味道的细节不仔细聆听的话几乎感觉不到，底鼓和军鼓之间的空间有些过大，镲也有同样的问题，大量的开镲和吊镲的变化被吉他丰满有余力度不足的音色包裹住听起来太纤细，规整过之，狂乱不足。并非说那样不好，但是和整张专集的情绪却不能相溶。贝司部分也同样由于上述的问题没有起到它应该能起到的黑暗之君的作用。但因为对于整张专集所透出的灵气和原初邪恶感的喜爱，我甚至在每次听它的时候总在幻想着在干燥音色和加强力度的弦乐部分以及更具爆破感的，更加靠前的打击乐声中这音乐应该是什么样子，呵呵。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>作品中很多行版以及加速前的过渡都是很有味道的，并且乐曲的编排我认为可以用两个字描述，流畅。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>恰好这时看到扉页里的一段话，不禁释然，原来VARGSANG 在CD 扉页里写到：</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>NOTE TO THIS RECORDING： THIS IS GRAVEN’S FINAL RECORDING IN THAT KIND OF TOO CLEAR AND UNRAW SOUND。 DEFINITELY OUR FUTURE RELEASE WILL BE AGAIN MORE GRIM AND HATEFUL！</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>呵呵，也许正因为如此，VARGSANG 又以个人名义在UNDERCOVER 发行了一张唱片，我更喜欢以VARGSANG 为名的那张，更加质朴和贴切。虽然有媒体说那是在重复作业。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>总体来说，对于喜欢传统类型黑金属的朋友我想这是一张可以收藏的专集，当然如果他们的录音可以“改善”的话，呵呵。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>其实在德国这两年的黑金属团中对自己震撼最大的是WARGRATH 单挑的MALUS，但是对于自己深爱的团往往难以执笔，因为很难用自己贫乏的语言去描述那种感受。</FONT></P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>2001年，一个来自瑞典，先前丝毫不为人所知的乐队悄无声息的在德国发行了一张唱片，一次真正以最扭曲和毛骨悚然的方式与死亡的残酷约会。这就是SILENCER，他们选择了一家也许和他们的音乐最不适宜的德国地下唱片公司-PROPHECY，并且在EMPYRIUM 的灵魂人物MARKUS SCHWADORF 的录音室KLANGSCHMIEDE “E” STUDIO （音响熔炉E）完成了录音和制作。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>在初见到这张唱片的封面时也不禁疑惑了半天，从乐队的LOGO 直到封面设计，怎么都无法与BLACKMETAL 联系起来，那更象是一张非主流的TRIP-HOP 唱片。更由于近年来PROPHECY 由MARKUS 带头（SON OF THE SLEEPLESS）发起了一场小小的TRIP-HOP “运动”（呵呵），所以就更是迟迟没有买下。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>偶然的机会在一家店里（很主流的一家店，FUCK）听到了这张唱片，还很清楚得记得当时的感觉。当前奏的木吉他响起时，一阵冷汗已经从脊背上渗出，而当NATTRAMN 让人头皮发麻的声音扭曲地吼起时，我感觉自己的血已经凝固。</FONT></P>

<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>&nbsp;</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>很多朋友肯定会想到ABYSSIC HATE 和SHINING 以及最近的LEVIATHAN（SWE），（虽然SHINING 的新作不很尽如人意），包括早期的BETHLEHEM，但是SILENCER 完全具有自己独特的地方。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>GRIM，MORBID，HATE！作为音乐主干的段落是纯粹的黑金属，充满挑衅，暴躁，MARKUS 的制作保持了音乐的原始和富于攻击性，（看来他还是没有完全失去根，呵呵）但每种乐器的音色都做得很丰满，很均衡。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>干涩的、失真变化丰富的吉他RIFFS （听着是两把琴，有时三把）在几个声部同时发难，在第一章节中吉他表现得更为病态一些，有些地方酷似BETHLEHEM 的DICTIUS TE NECARE和S.U.I.Z.I.D.。到了第二章节愈发得狂乱和邪恶，大部分的RIFFS甚至可以让人想起DARKTHRONE和BURZUM早期的音乐中所具有的那种极微往复，模糊混沌的，执拗地重复的冰冷单一的RIFF 型在持续几遍后就会从听觉上带给人一种无法形容的兴奋和应和，并唤起心中自我无法支配的险恶用心。没有扩展，没有变化，只是精微的反复已使你的精神随之到达你根本无法意识的所在（MAYBE HELL）。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>鼓是典型的双低鼓（有时快速的单踩）和军鼓的象暴雨一样滂沱的敲击，镲片的音色非常靠前，更多开镲的运用使整个音乐在高速段落一直充斥着残暴无比的剃刀般锋锐的力量感，那不是一个沉迷于自杀情结的人的自怨自伤，而更象是你脑海中一个强烈的声音在说：FOLLOW THE DEATH！</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>BASS 部分是唯一相较稳健的角色，沉闷，冷静，但透着一种可怖的寒意，象是死神的手在你身躯上长久的抚摩，温柔但却没有丝毫温暖，没法不让人感到恐惧。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>这张专集只有6首歌，但是长达将近50分钟（有时会觉得幸亏不是更长，因为那执拗的变态的碾磨难以承受），有着不同寻常的编排。几乎每首作品中都会有深渊般充满诱惑和死寂的键盘以及木吉他引子，在曲目进行中也会有刹那间的停顿。绝对不是休息，死亡的窒息永远都在，而柔和哀婉的木吉他、原声电琴（以不安的打击乐和BASS做底）和钢琴（左手部的凶狠的冲荡）以及键盘和声（散发着葬礼的颓败气息）在那种安静而暗显动荡的氛围中其实更容易让人更深地陷入自毁的情绪而不能自拔。</FONT></P>
<P style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em"><FONT color=#99ccff>NATTRAMN 的嗓音特别让我感到惊喜和畏惧。他持续的不带丝毫暖意的假声酷似VARG，但更脆弱和神经质（人们甚至可以想起KING DIAMOND 那诡秘和戏剧化的惊人假声加上喉管的撕裂感），有时伴随着低音部的黑金属狰狞的念白。在安静的段落NATTRAMN 又会让人联想到BETHLEHEM，突然沉郁的兽吼给本已难以承受的心再毫不留情的加注险恶的暗示，有时他的声音几乎象要哭了出来，但那绝对不是人的哭泣！</FONT></P>
